YouTube Day 2: Beacon Lighting

Today we're releasing another video to our YouTube channel! This video was created by Miss_Sarah and showcases how to complete the Beacon Lighting minigame. This is incredibly useful now that the daily challenges have been released and can include lighting some or all of the beacons for your reward. Make sure to check out the video and as always be sure to comment on it and give us feedback so we can improve the experience for you in the future.

Tomorrow we expect the RS game update, so stay tuned for our reactions on Botany Bay, the Al Kharid graphical update, and the two new quests.

Today we are proud to announce the launch of our newest feature - a brand new RuneHQ YouTube channel! This channel will contain anything and everything you can think of when it comes to RuneScape if it's of interest to you guys, our community.

To celebrate the launch of this new channel, we will be releasing one new video each day this week from the 24th (today) to the 30th. Afterward, it is our goal to release at least one video per week. TzHaar Fight Pits!

In the depths of Musa Point, lie an ancient race of Obsidian creatures known as the Tzhaar. The Tzhaar are a strong race of fighters. The Tzhaar used a battlefield known as the "Fight Pits" to train to become hunters. This used to be a battlefield for the Tzhaar alone, but now they have opened it up to the general public for its amusement. If you dare, journey into the city of the Tzhaar and fight in the pits. Succeed and you shall receive ultimate glory and the title of the Tzhaar Champion (and a bit of tokkul and a chance to get a Hybrid Torso Piece)!!!

Jagex Live Stream For Botting

Yesterday Jagex held their second live stream in which Mod Mark and Mod MMG answered and revealed all about botting in RuneScape. Some topics mentioned include the mechanics behind Botany Bay, the next bot nuke "Optimus", and much more. We're expected to see a dramatic decrease of bots by the end of September!

Shades of Mort'ton

Ghostly ghouls have infested the town of Mort'ton and the surrounding area! We have to work together and defend the great sacred fire, kill off evil shades and burn them for epic loot. You might even get lucky and obtain the rare gold key in hope of getting a necromancer kit part! This weekend we want you to join us in saving this forgotten town in the far south of Morytania and save the town's people from the shades that have taken over their lives!

Corporeal Beast!

Do you like to slay big incredible boss monsters? Have you ever wanted a chance of receiving one of the most valuable monster drops in the game? Well now's your chance! This sunday the Events Team are hosting a Corporeal Beast event!



Now I know what you're thinking, "yay mass at corp" Even in high numbers you are still at risk as he is a beast, believe it or not and one of the most powerful creatures on Runescape with a total of 20,000 lifepoints. This event is not for the faint hearted!

This event is dangerous and upon death you do not have a grave so will have to make your way back quickly before your stuff dissapears!

Castle Wars!

Near the plains of Feldip is a huge arena in which warriors across Gelinor may fight to the death, in a game of capture the flag. Whether you would like to fight for Chaos, Peace or maintain balance, in the end your goal is the same. To capture the enemy's flag. You can choose to man the catapult and crush your enemies with huge stones; evade enemy assaults and go underground, or rush through the center of the bloodshed to the enemy's castle. The team that wins will be rewarded with Castle tickets, which can be used to purchase awesome rewards.
