RuneHQ Event - Stealing Creation!

In another plane, lays clay of a mystical property. Players use all their skill to transform this clay into items that can be used for survival, whether it be runes, food or combat weapon and armour, in order to vanquish their opposing team. Whether you gather the clay yourself, steal from others, get friends to help you or even kill others for their clay is entirely up to you!



Those who have work hard to gather the clay may be rewarded with clay used outside of this plane that can give bonus experience in skills of their choosing.

RHQ Event - Hide and Seek

3, 2 ,1 Ready or not, here we come!



To begin the winter festivities at RuneHQ, there's nothing more fun than an epic world-scale game of hide and seek! That's right, we're going to be using the entire of Gielinor (excluding quest areas) where the Admins of RuneHQ will be hidden away!



Do you dare rise up to the challenge of finding the masters of Hide and seek? (It's true! Lilroo503 has his 120 cape to prove it!)



A personal challenge from Double_D_Edd:



The first player to find Double_D_Edd a maximum of 5 times will receive a cash reward in-game!

December's Behind the Scenes

After the introduction of our new forum software, the RuneHQ League of Clans was disbanded as we lost many of our topics, information, and general structure. We're happy to say that we've worked hard to create a brand new system of warring that will promote fierce competition. The league of clans is basically a battle ladder within the RuneHQ community. At the end of each period of warring, the clan with the most wins will receive a variety of prizes which could include advertisement on the front page, items, a special member title, and much more. If you think that your clan would like to join, all we ask is that you have a memberlist of 25 active members, and that you have a registered RuneHQ forum account. All of the information, rules, and steps for signing up can be found in the following topic on our forums.

RuneHQ Event - Godwars!

During the third age, two great gods battled for the control over Gielinor. Realising that Zamorak was too powerful to defeat, Saradomin created a powerful artefact known as the Godsword however Zamorakian forces attacked the Armadyllian convoy and broke the sword into pieces.



Today, we visit the Godwars Dungeon, where combatants of the Godwars were frozen after the great destruction caused by the Edicts of Guthix. We will be fighting both K'ril Tsutsaroth, a powerful demon binded by Zamorakian Mahjarrat and Zamorak's most powerful general, and Commander Zilyanna who is Saradomin's most faithful warrior. Fighting both will yield great rewards such as the shards of the Godsword Artefact, the Godsword hilts, and various other godly weaponry.

RuneFest Interviews

RuneFest is long passed. Jagex is now working on the next RuneFest I'm sure. So what do we have to show for the Fest-gone-by?



It seems that I have promised forever a series of interviews from our latest festival. Its about time I actually started releasing these gems to you, our loyal members. So here is the list of Jagex Moderators I was allowed to corner, and a general idea of what juicy topics I got them to dish about.

In no particular order:

• Mod Edu: Talked a bit about what the changes in how Jagex works with Fansites will mean to fans, and sites. What can we look forward to seeing in the future from this communication?


• Mod Timbo: Follow up to the Clan Citadel insider session, and clans in general.


• Mod Chihiro: Why are clans a focus in 2011, updates and community reactions to them, also I got to pick his brain a bit over some of my own opinions on the way clans, chat, and communities work in RS.


• Mod Clark: How many Marks and Pauls does it really take to run Jagex? Also what was Jagex like when it was smaller, and what is Mod Clark doing now?


• Mod Dean: What does it take to move an update from the idea stage, to a real working feature of the game? Also I got to complain about my favorite bug to hate, because it hasn't been fixed yet!


• Mod Ash: How he came to be working at Jagex - hint: sometimes it really just who you know! Also, where did the idea for the Wise Old Man come from, and what types of things Mod Ash considers when writing a quest.


• Mod MMG:Follow up to the Bot Busting session. Also why MMG believes he has the easiest job at Jagex (do you believe it?)


• Mod Paul:As a founder of the game, Paul tells us how it was in the very beginning, what convinced Andrew and himself that they had to grow, and what he loves about creating quests.
