As you enter a dark cave, you see a portal emerge from the darkness. A great beast comes forth and makes the world tremble below its feet. As you start to quiver in your boots, you see other adventures arrive to help slay this massive beast. That’s right, it's that time again. Come join the RuneHQ Events team as we take on one of Runescape’s toughest monsters; the Corporeal Beast. Will you and your fellow adventures survive or will you all perish?

RuneFest Exclusive - Games Area Interview

When asked about the computers at RuneFest, Mod Crow responded with something rather interesting stating, among other things, that "There are also going to be some additional computers set up for something really special. They’ll be behind closed doors and give attendees the chance to try something a little bit different." Important - Bogus Ventrilo Servers

It has recently been brought to our attention that Ventrilo servers are being registered under the company name of "Global Gaming HQ (GGHQ)". You may be asked or misled into logging into servers with host names that may contain "gghq.com" or named "GGHQ Ventrilo Server" and such. RuneHQ and Global Gaming HQ use only ONE Ventrilo server, and the server address is vent.gghq.net. Any other host names or addresses that imitate our server names and/or addresses are NOT owned or operated by GGHQ, so please steer clear of fraudulent servers!



We'd like to alert our esteemed users to exercise caution when obtaining information about ANY of our features such as Ventrilo. The safest place to obtain ANY information about is is either on our homepage (www.runehq.com) or our forums (RuneHQ Forums). RuneFest 2011

For the second year of RuneFest, planned for October of this year, RuneHQ has again been invited as part of the Platinum Level Fansite honors. RuneHQ Event - Great Orb Project

Runecrafting; a skill many players don't like. This weekend, however, we're playing a popular minigame in the Runecrafting Guild - the Great Orb Project. In this competitive minigame, you can pick between two teams, yellow and green. You then go through a portal to the Air runecrafting altar. The object of the game is to attract orbs of the same colour as the team your own towards the runecrafting altar; you're given three wands, one to attract the orbs towards your runecrafting altar, one to repel the enemy team's orbs away from it to prevent them scoring, and one to create a barrier to stop any orbs from going past.



With these three tools, and the other people on your team, you must score as many times as possible within the time allowed, to beat the other team. You'll then go through a portal to the next runecrafting altar and to play again, going through all the freeplay runecrafting altars, and, if you're a member, two more. We'll be doing it on a free to play world on Saturday, and then again on a members-only world on Sunday.

Jagex Clan Cup - Skilling Results

This was the third year of the Jagex Clan Cup and it's been an exciting one for anyone following along! With the competitions now completed, we have a RuneHQ Exclusive Early Access to the statistics of the Skilling Cup.

A huge congrats to Divination for coming in first place in BOTH the main and P2P divisions. In the main division, Akshay achieved the highest average experience in both Fishing and Woodcutting and placed 11th in Mining. Omniscient just barely missed out on the top slot for mining, but managed an impressive 82,067 average experience which earned a solid 2nd place. In the P2P Division, 3 hatch Muta snuck into the top spot for Thieving, Reaction got the managed a strong showing with 5th in Agility, and Akshay once again obtained another 1st; this time in Hunter.

A huge congrats to all those who participated and set the standard for how to powertrain. For further information including more individualized statistics, check out our Community Forums.
