Just to let everyone know that we have received word from Jagex that they are having issues with the game.

Please be patient as they know of the problem and are working as hard as possible to restore the game to working order. The following was just released on the
Runescape site:

"Due to an issue with our core infrastructure, the RuneScape game client and certain website features are currently unavailable. We are taking steps to rectify this issue as quickly as possible, and the game and all website features should be back in full working order over the coming hours. Some profile data may have been lost during this time.
At the moment we are not planning a roll back.

Hide and Seek Event!

Ready or not, here we come... or rather, here you come! For our first event of the month, we'll be playing the Runescape edition of everybody's favorite childhood game. But what could that be you ask?



Is it Pin the Tail on the Donkey? Nope (though that would be fun).
What about Chinese Checkers? Wrong... Go fish!
Maybe it's Hide and Seek? By George, that's it!



For those of you that were paying any attention to the first line of this post (a whopping 5% of you) or those that paid attention to the title (20% :P), you probably would've known that right off the bat. Yet at any rate we'll forgive you if didn't (eventually). But anyways, we'll be starting off the month searching for ET Members and possibly other event participants throughout Gielinor. Simple concept, right? Well for those of you who know how large RuneScape is, it won't be all fun and games. However, for making the game a tad easier and guaranteeing the safety of our event-goers, there will be no hiding in quest areas, dungeons, the wilderness, or any areas that require certain levels to enter. Also, don't worry if you get stumped, as we'll even be giving out clues from time to time. And for those of you lucky enough to find us, you might get the chance to hide as well (along with possibly an item of some monetary value :o).



So come on down and have some fun. We hope to see you there!

ET Cockroach Extermination!

Barbarian Assault

Ever wanted to learn how to play BA, but hate feeling like a drag on your friends when you learn a new game? Come along with your Mentors on a training run or three through BA to help our Mentors brush up on their Barbarian skills.

We will be holding several training runs through BA over the next few weeks. The first training run will be today, Sunday, March 20th at 8am PDT, with random events throughout the remainder of March and the beginning of April. To join the random training events you'll have to be sharp and keep a look out for Mentor activity on RS, specifically in the RS Mentor CC. This will all culminate in a large closing event April 16th.

One of today's RuneScape updates included numerous Dungeoneering fixes and alterations. Take a look at the Patch Notes for most of the changes today. Today, therefore, seems fitting to release RuneHQ's newest calculator.

One of the biggest problems in a dungeon has always been knowing everyone's skill levels and how high they can boost each skill. Having heard this complaint several times from my own group, I decided to create a calculator to solve this problem.

The Dungeoneering - Herblore Calculator will show not only what the highest level for your party is, but also who has that level. It then goes on, provided your party has the required Herblore level, to show what each type of potion (weak, medium, and strong) will boost the level to. The ingredients required to make each potion are also shown.

This should be a quick way to figure out what potions to make, who needs to drink the potion, and what doors your party needs to skip. It has sped up many of my own dungeons, and I hope it will help you as well. Just enter the usernames of your party before entering a dungeon and explore your dungeon without worry!

Two new images again this week. It appears the Smithing update is still in-line to be next! Are your Smithing levels up to par? Will there be a bank in the new area? Are you pumped about being able to "'bling' your dwarf multicannon?"

PvM TzHaar Fight Pits

To start off March, we're going to do something we haven't done in a little while - use an event suggestion from one of our RuneHQers! This suggestion came from Ammo, and the Events Team unanimously decided that we just had to do it.

The event will be in the TzHaar Fight Pits, but with a twist; we won't be fighting each other! As some of you may know, if you wait long enough in the Pits, TzHaar monsters start to appear and attack you. Those are what we're going to be fighting. We'll be doing it differently each time, with different equipment rules and such.

There is only one rule: NO attacking other players. If someone attacks another player, the person who attacked is allowed to be killed by anyone and everyone in the game.

First round: No healing. No food, no healing familiars or special attacks, no healing of any kind. All weapons and armor are allowed.
Second round: No armor. No armor or clothing that gives defence bonuses. All weapons and forms of healing are allowed. Weapons that give defence bonuses, such as longswords and daggers are allowed.
Third round: All items allowed. You can use any weapons, armor, or methods of healing.
Fourth round: No weapons. Nothing can be equipped in your weapon hand. No magic. Any armor or healing is allowed.

Rounds may be played after the first four rounds are done, with varying rules, depending on which are the most popular.

We're pleased to release the quest guide for Elemental Workshop IV into the wild despite Ian aging a hundred years in a single day and Tim hibernating until Spring.
